Awshum Friday

We had a wonderful Friday, which started outside and early. We came in for an extended circle time. We read two of Teo's books, as well as Where the Wild Things Are, which has been the classroom favorite. We sang name songs and yoga songs, went over the days of the week, and played Ring Around the Yogi as many times as the kiddos could handle. We had snack and some free-play and outside time. We came in for our lunch, and every one was happy to independently get and open their lunches, as well as put them away. After nap time, every one folded up their nap mat as they awoke, and many of our kiddos sat on the potty (it seems to be becoming more popular in our room)! We had some Fun Music time and used shakers and tambourines. Every one was interested in making loud and quiet sounds, and singing songs by request. It was a lovely Friday!
