Beautiful Tuesday!

'Twas another beautiful day at the Sprout on this lovely Tuesday. The blue skies welcomed us with a warm hug, and every one was busy this morning just before we came in for morning snack. We did our new routine of shaking out the sand in our shoes, brought them inside, and neatly put them in the shoe rack. We had snack, then circle time. We read the awesome book Bear in Underwear, and talked about what underwear we would like. Alanna said "Hello Kitty," Teo said "Brown." Paislie yelled "BLUE!" Annabelle said she didn't want any, Ivy said "I want some" and Koichi just smiled at us. We sang some songs and did some stretches to get our wiggles out, and Dom talked to every one about the letter "A" and showed us how to make it with our hand. After, we went into centers and every one tried extra hard to keep their spaces neat after using the toys. Koichi and Asher spent a significant amount of time driving trucks and reading books in the library. Annabelle spent lots of time stacking pegs, counting bears, and using play-dough. Alanna and Paislie fed the babies. later they both painted leaves. Teo and Theo also painted leaves, and Teo, Alanna, and Wren all took turns using playdough. Ancel and Noah explored the pine-cones and shells. Theo and Ancel glued buttons to the letter A, and many of our friends observed and took turns talked about, writing, and gluing buttons to the letter A. Ivy was busy with the bears, but also spent a lot of time in the kitchen and construction area. Every one had a fabulous time in the centers. We went out for a good thirty minutes to run around and absorb some rays of sunshine. We came in for lunch and nap.

After nap, we went into centers again, and every one found something fun to do. Abby Nagler stopped by for a visit, did some fun stretches with us, let us use our yoga breath to blow feathers, and gave lots of hugs to every one. After yoga, we got our shoes on and went out to end the day.

Love,
Jackie and Dom

(sorry, the blog was much more detailed and lively, but the site kept having errors and everything but the first 2 sentences got deleted :/ Then I rewrote it really fast. sigh.)
