Bonding with the Toddlers :)

Hola parents! Lizzie here :) I have had the absolute pleasure of spending the day with all your wonderful children!  We have had so much fun today and it has given us all the chance to bond and create even more love in our hearts for each other that is already there!
This morning we all had a blast playing on the playground!   Alanna and Theo spent some time at the new garden with Miss Cate talking about all the new plants we have growing.  Paisley and Wren were making pancakes in the sensory table,  Ben heard the word pancake and came a runnin to help! While we waited for more of our friends to arrive for the day we spent time on the slides and dome climber strengthening our muscles!
Once all of our friends arrived we headed inside for snack.  We had delicious watermelon and apricots! YUMMY!  All the kiddos gobbled up the watermelon very quickly!  The juicy sweetness was just what they were looking for after a morning of running, jumping, climbing, sliding, laughing and loving!
After snack we gathered on the carpet to read a story and change diapers.  Miss Cherokee read a story entitled 'The MIssing Chick' the lil munchkins really enjoyed trying to spot the missing chick on each page!
Once we finished up with our story we headed back outside for a dance party!! YAY! These little ones have some moves!!  Yo Gabba Gabba radio on Pandora really set us up for one epic dance party!
This afternoon after we rested out bodies and ate snack, we gathered on the carpet for circle time.  During circle time we sang songs, talked about what day, month, and year is it.  We also discussed the weather and how even though we love the rain we are so happy its sunny outside so can can go play!
Once we wrapped up circle time, we headed out to the deck to sing and dance even more!  I am just so grateful I was able to spend the day with these fabulous kiddos and share so many laughs, hugs, smiles, cuddles and dances!  I hope everyone has a very safe, fun, and healthy weekend!

Much Love,
Lizzie

Great post and pictures, thanks Lizzie! Ivy was talking about school all weekend and singing lots of songs. I'm going to have to get the lyrics for the clean up song, it seems to be magical in getting Ivy to pick up her toys :)

Annabelle has been talking about the song, "daba daba." Now I understand it's Yo Gabba Gabba! Thanks so much!
