Great Tuesday!

It was a wonderful Tuesday! We started out with a delicious snack of honey dew melon. We had a quick circle time and read My M book. We talked about mice, mooses, monkeys and other “m” things! We headed outside and got busy gathering dirt for our mud mixing sensory experience. We dug into the dirt using metal shovels and moved the dirt to the sensory table, which already contained water. Paislie covered her arms in mud, Noah and Asher filled containers and poured them into the mix, Teo put mud on his motorcycle seat and pushed it around, Ancel placed a rock on his shovel, Ivy, Theo and Alanna did a lot of mixing, Olive and Wynn mixed with a large shovel. We had time for some free-play right before lunch.

After nap, we had a station set up to send mail. Some of our friends “wrote letters,” folded their letter, put it in an envelope, wrote a name and address of some kind and put a “stamp” on the corner. Then, they stuck their letter in the mailbox. So far only Theo, Teo, and Asher have finished their letters. Then, Abby came for some yoga, and we had a fun activity of lifting small balls with our feet! It was a great day!

The letter M is the most fun one yet! Love the pics of "mixing" "mud", perfect toddler science experiment. And thanks again for the great Mother's Day gifts, so adorable and thoughtful.
