Hi, Teddy! Bye, Teddy!

Just as we were heading inside, we had a fun furry friend come and visit us! Toni's dig Teddy raced across the playground chasing tennis balls and all the kids had a blast watching him zip through!  Teddy played fetch, sat down when you asked him to,, and even gave us all high fives! Those friends who wanted to had the chance to give Teddy lots of gentle touches and soft pets. Teo and Koichi were screaming with joy, Joey, Wren, and Paislie were eager to give Teddy pets. Asher, Theo and Alanna were enjoying from a comfortable distance. We all said "bye Teddy!" and headed inside for a delicious snack of fresh fruit. After snack we took out our colorful streamers and made a streamer dance party mess! We had music going,, natural light, and lots of fun. Joey, Teo, Jasper, Koichi, and Paislie had fun throwing the streamers up and watching them fall down slowly. Then, we used those very same streamers as paint brushes (just bundled them up with some tape and dipped them in water!). Theo, Wren, and Joey  especially enjoyed switching colors. Asher, Jasper, and Teo were happy to help their friends with their paintings, too. After making our masterpieces, we headed to the deck to use large trucks and the kangaroo climber! While we were there, we saw puppets that the primary had made which had different emotional expressions. Wren and Theo put on a show for their friends. Once we got inside and had lunch, we were ready for nap.

After nap, we found a cricket in the corner in the room! Some friends chased the cricket, while others were interested in their family collages. Then, we brought out the tunnel and took turns going through. We had a big Yo Gaba Gaba dance party and headed outside to end our day!
