"I love spring anywhere, but if I could choose I would always greet it in a garden." -Ruth Stout

After the ups and downs of winter and a wonderful Spring Break, our Sprouts were back just in time to start seeing the first evidence of what is sure to be a fun and lovely Spring. Our Bluebonnets have been busy at work inspecting all of the glorious things that come with this wormer weather. We have been watching the trees come to life and the flowers bloom. We have been tending to our garden (while taking time to enjoy some of our produce, of course) and making sure all of our Springtime critters and being adequately taken care of.

Over the week of Spring Break, we took the time to move in new books for the Bluebonnets, which they have been fascinated with, especially the new and exciting popups! It is obvious that our new Montessori we moved in before our break have been revisited with fresh eyes and it has been interesting to see our Sprouts approach them with new and inventive styles. We have done several art projects, including sharing our snacks with our new Springtime birdie friends!

Our last Friday at Green Sprout was tremendous hit with our Bluebonnets! They thoroughly enjoyed our guest who came and played many familiar songs on his saxophone. The Sprouts learned all about the different parts of the instruments and got to touch it and stick their whole arms in it (their favorite part).

Charlie and I are so happy to be back with our Green Sprout friends and are very much looking forward to what this shift in weather has in store for our Bluebonnets!

Much love,
Candace
