Mellow Tuesday

We started out Tuesday in the big back yard with beautiful weather. Olive stopped to fix her shoe, and we talked about how her thumb toe was stuck. It wasn’t long before we headed inside for snack. After snack, we went right into circle time with Olive’s book Every little thing. We talked about birds singing and Lizzie’s dreadlocks that are much like the little boy’s in the book. We played dress up with mustaches provided by Olive. Dom and I decided to wear them as long as we could stand. Friends were laughing at how silly Ancel, Ivy, and Theo looked. We headed out once more and found rollie pollies in the garden and where the log used to be by the fence. Paislie and Olive tasted some plants from the garden. Alanna and Ivy walked around the playground holding hands and calling each other “cousin.”

In the afternoon, we had yoga. We sang songs, got feet massages with chocolate lotion, and gave each other lots of hugs. It was a mellow Tuesday.
