P is for Party!

Are Monday started off with some quality work time followed by circle time. We sat down for snack and had the challenge of peeling our own oranges. We took the time to smell the sweet citrusy aromas and asking friends for help if any one needed help. At the end of the day we had yoga and practiced moving fur balls around with our feet. Later, we celebrated Kai’s birthday!

Unfortunately my pictures from Tuesday were lost, some how. However, we did have a great day of eating watermelon and making nature collages in the morning. In the afternoon, we had a blast eating cupcakes and celebrating Kian’s birthday!

Wednesday morning, we spent time “going to the store.” Friends took turns scanning items and putting them in bags. We also spent time taking care of our corn sprouts. Then, we had circle time, and put together the ingredients to make play-dough. In the afternoon, we moved our bodies around and made up our own yoga poses. Then, every one had a chance to play with the cinnamon scented playdough!

On Wednesday, every one had a chance to use dot markers to create fall leaves. We went outside and spent a lot of time reading books. In the afternoon, we celebrated Tula’s birthday outside! We ate yummy healthy treats and wore sunglasses and party hats.

Friday morning, we had our usual dance party. We had more opportunities to make nature collages, and we used hula hoops. We had an awesome lunch-time picnic outside. Later that day, we had a cooking project where we used cookie cutters to cut out shapes in our bread, and decorated the bread with sun butter and raisins.
