The letter "P"

It was a great Monday as we had a routine morning drop offs outside, explored, then marched inside for snack and circle time. We started with an introduction to our letter of the week, P and read a book about Porcupines! We looked at Pictures of objects that start with P, and named words and our friends who have names that start with “P”! We One favorite of my friends was Peacock, so we decided to make Peacock feathers by coloring on coffee filter, then spraying them with water to watch the colors run. Jackie then folded them in half and the colors bleed onto the filter creating beautiful colors when it dried.

After nap, Mr Mike came to visit, as I went to help out in the office. It was soon Yoga time with Ms Abby, as everyone was excited to see what she had for them today. Ms Abby read a book, as she explained and showed them the poses to each animal in the book. They soon said goodbye, and made their way to the table for snack. Ended our afternoon outside, splashing in the sensory tub, and walking on the balance beam!
