Tuesday!

It was a fabulous Tuesday at the Sprout! We started out the day inside, since the cold wet weather was a bit uninviting. We danced and had centers open to start the morning. Ben and Wren went off to have a play-date in the primary room, and we went on to have a delicious snack; then transitioned to circle time. We sang the days of the week, counted to 15, and read some books that friends brought, some about food, some about babies, and some about diapers! We saw some pictures of friends on the potty and talked about what it means to wear underwear! We also congratulated Annabelle for becoming a new big sister! Crystal came (from the Infant room) to introduce herself to the kiddos and give lots of warm hugs to every one! We then pulled out the big hearts that we made for Valentine's Day and used our fine-motor skills to put heart shaped stickers onto the giant heart. Then, we asked every one to point to their heart, and we all took turns putting heart shaped stickers where we thought our heart was! After circle time, we went to centers once more, and had the option of coloring the letter B! It was soon time for lunch and nap.

After nap, we went to centers, and then said hello to Ms. Abbey Nagler, who helped us get in touch with our bodies. We stretched and breathed together and finished off with the song My Little Light. Then, the pre-tots came to visit, and we had a giant dance party! Olive was happy to be reunited with her old classmates! had snack and then headed outside to enjoy the beautiful weather.
