Tuesday Gardening!

It was a fabulous Tuesday! We started out enjoying some lively tunes from the keyboard that Teo brought for us to share. Every one was interested in exploring the different buttons that make different sounds! We went out to enjoy the sun and the fabulous weather and many of our friends got busy pushing carts and digging in the sand. Toni came out and asked us to, as a team, remove the rocks from behind the garden to begin a rollie pollie search. We found different containers in which to put our crawling friends. We found almost one hundred rollie pollies, there were so many! Then, we got busy pulling weeds. After some weed pulling, we gathered around to taste fresh parsley, mint, dill, and kale from our garden! We came in for lunch, and after lunch, we sat on our nap mats to read the “g” book, which included “garden” and “grass” in the story. We talked about what we had done outside. After nap, we did yoga, had a great time, then headed outside. We enjoyed ants on a log for snack in the beautiful weather. We found a beetle and observed it. It was a great day.
