Warm and Sunny Wednesday!

Our favorite morning routine lately has been checking on our gardens, and giving them as much water as possible to grow bigger! Their favorite vegetables/fruits/herbs to try from the gardens are Kale, Mint, Parsley, Fennel, and of course our baby strawberries! Theo loves to help me water the garden while everyone else finds cups or bowls to collect water and help the other plants and trees that need water.

After snack, we sat on our x’s and read the book Ivy brought to share with the class! She and everyone were excited to read it and count along! We “stacked our apples” up high while we counted to 10 and backwards! Soon after, we sat to work on our “Quilt”! everyone had a piece of construction paper to work with, first we started with stamps and markers. Next we used glue, pipe cleaners, seashells, stickers, sequence, and googly eyes! Our friends were so creative with their piece of the quilt, some added lots of markings by markers, but little glue, while some friends explored with the glue, and pretty much covered their whole paper in it, which brought us to our last material, Glue! We cleaned up and marched outside

Splash play in the afternoon was great, we enjoyed the deck and shared with the pre tots, most friends lounging in small buckets with little to no water, while others collected water in anything they could find and transferring it to other buckets or on themselves! We soon marched inside after lots of fun water play, for snack and to the back yard to end our day :)

Much Love
Dom and Jackie
