Welcoming the Sun! :)

I came in later today, and when I got here everyone was cuddled up, under the fort, reading a book with Jackie! They all looked so comfy and happy, it was adorable! They finished up the book, then made their way to different centers. We quickly did snack, and changed diapers, than made our way outside, finally after many days spent indoors! Everyone was excited; they quickly got busy, making tons of “food” with the wet sand that was in the sandbox. Wren found the digger and made his way to the Kangaroo Climber, and said that was his fort as he stood there with his digger! We soon made our way back inside for lunch, and transition to nap.

After nap, Theo requested the book, “Where the Wild Things Are”, as he and everyone have been very interested in the book. Most friends have shown much interest in potties, so everyone took turns sitting, and going tee-tee or poop on the potty! We’ve also been working with the children on rolling up their nap mats, so we all took the time to practice, while Asher, Teo, and Ben were quick to roll it up after nap, and offer their services to any friends whom they noticed may need help. Once everyone was done, they sat and read another book with Ms Jackie before Ms Leona made her way inside for Spanish! We gathered on the carpet, to sing songs and dance with Ms Leona, She brought out some pretty scarves and we danced with her to the “Hokey Pokey”, shaking out scarves and throwing them in the air! Once Leona said her goodbyes, we sat and had a quick snack, then quickly made our way outside to enjoy the beautiful afternoon, on this awesome Thursday!

Much Love

Dom and Jackie

So glad our kiddos and their deserving teachers were able to get some sun and fresh air today! Wren's expression on the kangaroo climber says it all...an exuberant hooray. I see the ball and ramp experimentation has resumed; Newtonian physics has never been more fun. Ivy's face as she runs down the ramp is delightful. Thanks for another great entry.

Yesterday was such a beautiful day! Glad everyone spent it outside! Since I am on "modified bed rest" until next week, I feel better knowing that Annabelle can run around and play outside with her friends.
