Kinderblossom Lilies
Guide to Student Ratio: 1:9
Maximum of 18 students in a classroom with two guides
There is a huge sense of pride for the students who enter our Kinderblossom classroom (our Kindergarten-readiness program). These children are now our community leaders and help guide their younger peers.
At this point in our Sprout's development, they have mastered many of Montessori works, have become confident in expressing their feelings and emotions, developed empathy and respect for their peers and greater community, speak clearly using complex sentences, and are showing interest in the fundamentals of writing, reading and mathematics. Our Kinderblossom group explores phonetics, masters writing their own name, letters of the alphabet, and eventually forms words and sentences. The Kinderblossom group also masters counting, number operations, sorting and sequencing objects, pattern formation and recognition, geometry and measurement.
Our main goal of the Kinderblossom Program is to facilitate and support each child’s independence, confidence, self-control, inner-peace and creativity so that they are prepared to conquer the big world of elementary school. Many of our graduates go off to Kindergarten where they are immediately recognized and honored for the peaceful nature and empathetic personalities. It is our ultimate goal to raise our children into the peacekeepers and positive leaders for the future.
